A Day in the LIfe [Jun. 1st, 2006|05:41 pm]
I joined this thing by suggestion of Kimbo but do not have time right now to read through to figure out what I need to do. Anyways, it is Thursday and I took some random photos of my day and figured I would at least post them here. They will also be on my photo site along with every other photo I have ever taken. Yep, addicted to photos. Always have been.

Hello,

I am sorry, this is just not acceptable. I have already cancelled this
account in APRIL and Yahoo has billed me for it, wrongly billed me for a
2nd
cycle. This needs to be taken OFF OF MY VISA IMMEDIATELY. If not, I
guess I
will need to call my VISA company and have them post it as fraudulant
charges. And of course, will need to inform all my friends who are still

using Yahoo about what has occurred here.

I am extremely dissapointed and feel that Yahoo has willingly ripped me
off.

Yahoo Rips People Off [May. 16th, 2006|03:17 pm]

[Current Mood | aggravated]

Okay, this post is PUBLIC.

After getting out of a long term relationship, I tried Yahoo Personals because a friend uses it. I tried it for a little bit, only signed up for one cycle which I think was 3 months. If you don't cancel before the next billing period they just keep billing your credit card. I went on one date and discovered the online dating is not for me, so I made sure I cancelled my account before the next cycle. Well, to my suprise, my visa was once again charged for basically $50. I emailed custoemr service and back and forth the emails went with no credit to my visa. I just kept on getting the run around. I just sent them one more email stating that they must immidiately credit my account. I am really pissed tht such a large corporation does not realize that the customer is always right. They have Yahoo serach engine, Yahoo personals, Yahoo owns Flickr. They make so much money and yet they can't deservingly just credit my friggen credit card account? So, to anyone who reads this: watch out for Yahoo. They screw people over and purposely have it set up for automatic rebilling just to make sure they can get your money in case you forget to cancel. However, I did not forget to cancel. I made sure of it since I read the fine print. Make sure you always save your emails, always read the fine print and dont trust Yahoo Personals.

(no subject) [Dec. 22nd, 2005|03:38 pm]
[Current Mood | blank]

I have just begun a new book called a Million Little Pieces which is about a drunk and a drug addict. The very first page had some words on it that hit me like a ton of bricks....

The Young Man came to the Old Man seeking counsel.

I broke something, Old Man.

How badly is it broken?

It’s in a million little pieces.

I’m afraid I can’t help you.

Why?

It can’t be fixed.

Why?

It’s broken beyond repair. It’s in a million little pieces.

Sideways

Sideways
by Citizen Cope

You know it ain't easy
For these thoughts here to leave me
There's no words to describe it
In French or in English
Well, diamonds they fade
And flowers they bloom
And I'm telling you
These feelings won't go away
They've been knockin' me sideways
They've been knockin' me out lately
Whenever you come around me
These feelings won't go away
They've been knockin' me sideways
I keep thinking in a moment that
Time will take them away
But these feelings won't go away

I am SO SICK of read only mode

I am this close to not using this stupid thing anymore. I waste my friggen time typing in an entry and then poof it is gone because when I go to post it says read only. This is not just a once in a while thing. It happens EVERY TIME I try to post.

What the hell?

The Clarence Greenwood Recordings [Jan. 29th, 2005|06:02 pm]
"I listened to a whole lotta records this year - 1000 or so - but the only one that I keep coming back to is Citizen Cope's The Clarence Greenwood Recordings. Cope's got this slow-burning, mush-mouthed talking blues style going on that fits his dark, poetic, tales of love, loneliness, fear and loathing like hand in glove. The music is this funky, time-space warping, mash-up of Gram Parsons and Bob Marley moods with Bob Dylan and Shuggie Otis grooves. Citizen Cope's The Clarence Greenwood Recordings is a future urban folk pop classic right now."
